The BAX® System Real-Time STEC Panel 2 delivers rapid, accurate non-O157 STEC detection for Shiga toxin-producing E. coli serogroups O45, O103, and O145—USDA-declared adulterants in raw beef and other food matrices. Designed for beef and dairy processors, this confirmatory PCR assay works seamlessly with the BAX® STEC Screening kit, using the same lysate to eliminate redundant sample preparation. With AOAC-RI and AFNOR certification, results in as little as 9 hours, and validated performance across raw beef, dairy, vegetables, and cannabis, it supports regulatory compliance and accelerates product release decisions.
