The BAX® System E. coli O157:H7 for X5 delivers fast, reliable PCR-based Escherichia coli detection in food processing environments. Designed for beef, produce, and dairy industry professionals, this AOAC-RI Performance Tested and AFNOR-validated assay provides results in approximately 3.5 hours post-enrichment. The kit detects E. coli O157:H7 at concentrations as low as 10^4 cfu/mL across validated matrices including raw ground beef, beef trim, spinach, lettuce, raw milk, and ready-to-eat foods. Each lyophilized PCR tablet contains integrated positive controls for result reliability. With 64 reactions per kit and BAX® System X5 compatibility, laboratories can streamline E. coli testing while maintaining rigorous food safety standards.
