The AlerTox® ELISA Egg is a quantitative egg allergen test kit designed for precise egg detection in food manufacturing. This sandwich ELISA targets heat-stable ovomucoid, ensuring reliable results even in processed and baked goods where other egg proteins may denature. With a quantification range of 0.4 to 8 ppm and results in approximately 60 minutes, it supports allergen control programs, label verification, and regulatory compliance. One sample extraction is compatible with 16 different AlerTox® allergen kits. Validated across multiple food matrices including bakery items, meat products, and prepared foods.
